Hello Everyone! I’m Kay from @art.with.kay. I’m a Canadian author, illustrator and multidisciplinary artist. I have loved all things art for as long as I can remember. As a child, I would immerse myself into various creative projects that would take hours. I enjoyed anything creative from drawing, colouring, writing poetry and I then transitioned to more "hands on art”. I have experience in graphite, charcoal, soft and oil pastel, beadwork, engraving art, ink work, acrylic, watercolour and mixed media. This year I have focused on mixed media beaches. The colours and process bring me peace. Since people cannot travel I have decided to bring the beach to them!
Creator's Perspective
My favourite things are faith, family, nature and animals. I absolutely love how inspiring nature is! My beaches are made with real elements and each and every single is unique. I love the sensory process of sculpting the coastlines.
