Hi, I’m Kibbi Linga, a psychedelic-abstract painter from Los Angeles, California! I use art and expression to help me heal from my health condition, PTSD. I use my experience to inspire others, as I believe I have an abundance of hope to offer. When I’m not expressing myself through painting, I love music, dancing, socializing, friendships and spontaneity. I love soft body acrylic paints and use a lot of canvas tape! Colors help me express my emotions as I create my art. I enjoy sharing my experiences and painting process with others with the intention of spreading love and light! It's more than fair to say that I love happiness and I love to love.
Creator's Perspective
The first painting is "Forgiveness of Red" - through this painting I put forth the painful effort to forgive the person who I call “Red” in my life. Red was the most toxic of all, doing the unimaginable and by habit. How do you forgive that? I did, through this painting, as my anger turned to compassion. This piece is so meaningful to me because of it’s lesson that I have the ability to turn my anger into loving compassion! Sweet deal!!!
The second painting is "My Best Friend" - This painting is so valuable to me because it represents my best friend who recently passed. I consider him to have “Orange” personality. This painting helped me begin the acceptance and grieving process of losing him. This painting IS my best friend, an angel now.
The third painting is "Higher Power" - this painting IS my higher power! My higher power is SO awesome! To name a few, he’s unconditionally loving, SO forgiving and always has my back, even when I think he doesn’t. I LOVE my higher power.
The fourth painting is "I am enough" - This painting is my breakthrough of beating the “critical voice” in my head telling me negative stuff about myself. I literally believed the negative lies about myself that were implanted in my head early in life and for 30 years! Today I can say I’m beautiful, loving, fun, smart, awesome and more! I love myself today and this painting helped me get there. This is priceless to me!
