I’m Minny Kalson, a fashion student and an illustrator from India. As an artist I find beauty in small things around me. I believe life doesn’t go according to our plan but always puts us in varied situations so we can use the power of imagination to create something new from the given. You may end with something more beautiful than imagined.
I am a big fan of Indian attire and my favorites are handmade clothing specially dupattas and sarees. Phulkari, a hand embroidered dupatta literally means “flower work”. The embroidery of this dupatta always amazes me.Silk sarees epitomize six yards of wonder and its intricate details are unbelievable. To paint and illustrate is a soothing process for me and I especially I love these two illustrations. The traditional girl gives off a beautiful vibe and the 2nd illustration represents my desire to travel the world and grab every opportunity that comes my way.
