This work was inspired by the way cells divide. The shape was made by hammering, sinking, and raising. To give the work a three-dimensional effect, the colored silver leaf was attached only to the edge, and beads were stacked and sewn. UD stands for Universe Division, and the number is a secret combination of my family number. Families start like a cell but later have their own universe and a new family. Each chunk of the necklace represents the artisan and her brother.
