This eye-catching bowl was created with a special technique. The metal was cut with a chisel while red-hot and forged into shape with great care and patience. The cut ends of the bowl were overlapped and rejoined using 3 solid copper rivets.

These large centrepiece bowls measure 250mm (10″) in diameter and stand 50mm (2″) high. They are forged from 3mm (1/8″) thick iron sheet and weigh over 1.2kg (3.0 lb)
