Gorgeous tropical Macaw parrot hoop earrings. The parrot charm is made using a restored antique illustration & sustainably grown Birch wood. The backs of the parrots are carefully hand-painted black for a neat finish on both sides. The earrings are gold-filled, which means a solid gold layer over a base metal. It has the same appearance as high-karat gold and is 5-10 times thicker than gold plate, offering tarnish resistance. It is an excellent midpoint between solid gold and gold plate.
