The necklace has the restored image highlighting the colour and detail, and it was printed by a local company specialising in gallery-standard illustrations using fade-resistant inks. This image started its life as an antique illustration. The bird is painted neatly on the back with waterproof paint. The bird is adhered to sustainably grown 4mm thick Birch wood and laser-cut by me to ensure a perfect cut, then finished by hand in my workshop with a layer of luxurious gloss!
