This brooch tells stories about loss and recovery. About getting stronger and healing a broken heart. About finding hope and learning to live again. This statement brooch is made from paper-a material fragile in appearance but surprisingly strong and resilient, just like one's heart. Over 140 freshwater pearls, coral beads, and gold leaf were used to symbolize the change that comes from within: the transmutation of fear into hope.
